Nintendo Addresses Skyward Sword’s Game-Breaking Bug

Good news, everyone! The game-breaking glitch we all knew existed in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has been acknowledged by Nintendo, and is currently in the process of being patched up and readied in the form of a downloadable update, to be stored on your Wii’s internal flash memory. Thank you, Nintendo, for taking care of your wonderful game, and cleaning out all of the unwanted bugs! We appreciate it very much.

As you would all know, the particularly fatal glitch occurs towards the end of Skyward Sword, as you’re hunting for the Song of the Hero. The glitch occurs when you visit the Thunder Dragon before you visit the Water and/or Fire Dragons, and you speak to Golo the Goron, in the Lanayru caves, before you speak to the Thunder Dragon. It’s a bit of a complicated little process, so rest assured, if you’re hanging about this section of the game currently, and you don’t want to mess anything up, we’ve got a comprehensive method of avoiding the game-breaking bug right here. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for Nintendo to release the downloadable update momentarily!

And if you’ve already encountered the bug, the patch will revert things back to normal. No need to start a new save file! Praise the goddesses!
